About The Latter Day Survivors
Kindra Backman Celani was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was an active temple endowed member until 2018 when she realized the church valued the membership of the pedophile who abused her over her own membership. This realization led her to do more research into the fear based practices in the church, circular reasoning, and false doctrine. Kindra is married and has 4 children, and one grandchild on the way. She is a Nurse Practitioner, has worked as a nursing professor, and has a passion for teaching people. Her work on this podcast does not constitute medical advice.
Dayna Kimball Brown was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints until around the age of 20 when she began researching LDS doctrines that had troubled her throughout her life.
She made the decision to leave the church after intensive study of the doctrines and their origins. Dayna was married to her high school sweetheart in 1990 . She and her husband have 3 children who each have partners. She has 3 grandchildren. Dayna had children at a very young age and Is enjoying life as a grandmother. Her grandchildren are the most incredible part of her life and she has NO TROUBLE being referred to as "Grandma", "granny", "Grammy", "Nanna", or any other version of the word.
